Sound insulating floors
MAX 4 timber floors provide an acoustic improvement with minimum installation depth in renovation projects. For this purpose FONOFIVE is applied under the MAX4 sheeting. FONOFIVE consists of an approx. 1.5 mm thick layer of acoustic insulation with an approx. 4.5 mm thick polyester non-woven material underneath. This results in an impact sound reduction of approximately 20 dB on an existing timber floor.
