MAX 4 Reinforcing sheets are profiled steel sheets used for reinforcing ultra thin lightweight liquid screed floors on top of wooden or other sorts of surfaces. Particularly suitable if the wooden floor joists in renovation projects are not strong and rigid enough for a LEWIS floor or if there is no room for the construction height of a LEWIS floor. The MAX 4 Reinforcing sheets are available in a 10 mm and 20 mm high variant. Under floor heating can be integrated in the MAX 4 sheets, due to the special profiling.
MAX 4 floor
You can easily install a MAX 4 floor.
You can easily install a MAX 4 floor by connecting the sheets with a half-lap joint. Flattening the small bending tabs on the sheeting create a permanent connection. After mounting the reinforcement sheeting, apply a cement- or plaster-bound cast screed mortar. Due to the open structure of the MAX 4 sheeting, the screed also functions as a filling floor. The weight of 32 kg/m2 (type FS10) or 50 kg/m2 (type FS 20) ensures a minimum load on the supporting structure. Yet a MAX 4 floor is sufficiently strong and stiff for any hard or soft floor covering, such as carpet, vinyl and ceramic tiles.
